Bloggins Lifestyle: At home with TX

A couple months ago, Kenny Bloggins spent some time smokin' Maconia and slappin' Bundas south of the equator with a visit to Brasil. In this episode of Bloggins lifestyle, Rodrigo TX takes us through his home in Sao Paulo and gives us a sneak peek into his life back in Brazil. Obrigado.

Brazilian skateboarders have always been renown for their incredible pop on a skateboard. The reason and explanation for this pop has always been a mystery...until now. Our team of scientists at The Bloggins Research Institute have recently discovered that the antioxidant-protein-carbohydrate combination found in the Acai bowl; when eaten over an extended period of time, drastically increases your pop and jumping ability by 50%. Rodrigo starts off every day with an Acai Bowl, and that's why Rodrigo can kickflip your mom.

TX and most of Brazil have a huge fascination with mafia shit and the street life. That's a big reason why Prodigy of Mobb Deep could run for president of Brazil and win. This action figure is from the film "The Godfather" and sits in TX's bedroom to remind him to keep it gangsta 24/7.

Reinforcing the gangsta-ness of his crib, this Scarface poster hangs in TX's living room. If you look close, you'll notice another important hood element found underneath the poster....a Nextel phone box. The chirp feature ("Where you at Dog?") found on Nextel phones are crucial for communicating with peeps in the streets. Fuck an Iphone or Blackberry. Nextel dog!!

In the west wing of the TX estate, you'll find his trophy room. This room is filled with all his favorite skate videos, pictures, and trophy's from all his 1st place victories in major international competitions. Pure Excellence bitch!!

With all the glamour and glitz that goes with being an internationally recognized athlete, you might think its easy for TX to forget where he comes from...Never That!!  One look at his closet and you can see that he is still a skate rat at heart. Skate Na Veia!

Soccer is the national sport of Brazil and everyone pledges allegiance to their local teams. TX bleeds Corinthians and isn't afraid to break some shit or riot in the streets if they lose.

TX has a proper board wall with 15 or so of his pro models in his living room. This Firm deck is by far his favorite. Its his first American pro-model.

Rodrigos VW GTI is official. When rollin on Avienda Paulista, this whip definitely attracts the quality Bunda.

TX closes out his day with only the finest cuts of meats from the local Churrascaria.  These restaurants are all you can eat and help Rodrigo recharge after a hard day of skating. TX's ridiculous intake of only the finest steaks is a perfect compliment to his Acai consumption and rounds out a balanced diet, ensuring the pop stays on point.

After a proper dinner, Rodrigo retreats back to the crib for some sleep, cuz its hard to get your hustle on without a good nights rest. Sleep tight Haters!

Style Watch...Chuntaro Style

Chuntaros, Paisas, Vaqueros, Beaners...whatever you wanna call em, they have a unique style all their own that can no longer be ignored. You might see these urban cowboys in any Mexican neighborhood in the United States, rocking a Sombrero hat, a flashy belt buckle and cowboy boots made from some sort of exotic hide (ostrich, eel, crocodile or dog are the most common). This style of dress may seem innocent enough, but we have dug deep into the underbelly of the Chuntaro world and what Kenny Bloggins has uncovered might shock you.

In this edition of the Kenny Bloggins Style Watch, we unearth and expose the Chuntaro Style to all you pinche gringos and gringas.

Maradona World Cup Mexico 1986

Since World Cup 2010 is only a couple days away, its only fitting to take this time to look back at one of the most controversial goals in World Cup history. Maradona's Hand of God goal in the Argentina vs. England match of the 1986 World Cup made him one of the most hated men in England at the time. This illegal "handball" goal was missed by the refs and was followed by another amazing Maradona goal in which he dribbled past 5 opposing players to score and solidify their win over England, sending them to the next round and eventually becoming champions of the world.....COCAINE IS A HELL OF A DRUG!!!
